My Thoughts - Story

Feelings as soon as finishing…

Dear Ms. Finn,

What have you done to me? I am in a reading coma right now because of the angst and obstacles you have created between Darren and Bailey.  After Unforgiven, I would have thought you would give this couple at least a tiny break…BUT NOOOO….you throw them right under the bus of future doom.  Not only must they work through their past, but Bailey still has the town shunning her.  Darren is petrified he will say the wrong thing to make Bailey run again.  Their therapist seems to make them more and more confused.

And wait….as soon as a bit of sunshine peeks through the clouds…you make it fucking rain…oh noooo…not just rain – IT’s A TORNADO!

After the epilogue – I do have to say you redeemed yourself. (still love you)

Summary of feelings after reading…it’s like having a craving or addiction for chocolate but get a toothache and want to eat it…but the enjoyment is painful.

Re-Cap
I can’t divulge too much without giving the story away – but you MUST read the first book to understand anything about this one.

We pick up a bit after Unforgiven with Darren and Bailey wanting to work through their past in order to have a happy future.  They decide to go to counseling in order to help with this. Questions and second-guessing get the best of Bailey and she decides to take a step back with their relationship.

Shit happens….in fact….a ton of shit happens

Then we have the epilogue!
